Reiki in the Future
How I see Reiki in the future? It should
be compulsory! I don’t know what I did before I learnt
Reiki. I certainly would not like to be without it. Here in
this country the health system is crumbling, so a lot of people
are looking to the alternative side. Last week junior doctors
went on strike – this week senior doctors joined in. People
get sent home from hospital and new cases are refused. Not a
pretty picture and its all about more money, from people who
can’t afford it anyway. I would like to build up a hospital
support system with our Reiki people in future.
I have started
a veterinary support system. We are still thin on the lines but
just a short success story from a cow. Cherie the favorite show
Dexter of a friend of mine – slit her teat on a wire and
a ghastly mastitis ensued. She was booked on the Harare agricultural
show in a week! Cherie got treated with all we know; Homeopathy.
Cabbage leaf fermentation’s etc, the vet stitched the teat.
But Cherie lay flat in pain with glassy eyes and fever. I eventually
thought – well – why not. Reiki to the rescue! At
lease I can help her to die in peace. I gave her Reiki for about
10 minutes. I felt she absorbed it eagerly. I was a bit weary
about her big horns, so I just put any my hands between them on
the head. She got symbols and affirmations and all! I also told
her that we all love her a lot and its OK either way. "We
have done all we can, and now its up to you dear Cherie."
"I think you should get up now and go to the show and win
all the prizes". – She did just that. She went and
cleaned up all that she could win including the Cow of the year.
Thank you Reiki!
A little while later I was called to a horse which had staked
itself half a year ago on a creosote wooden fence. One pole had
broken off in the horse’s groin. The vets operated but half
a year later the hair on his left hind leg hadn’t even grown
back and the leg was cold to touch and terribly swollen. The horse
was very apprehensive and very scared with his head high under
the roof it stood in the corner and threatened to kick and bite.
The only sort of safe place for me to touch was its shoulder.
I drew the symbols in there while I was talking to the owners.
I must have had a bit starry eyes! All of a sudden the horse let
out a long sigh, came down and kept smelling around. I gave him
my palms to smell. "Watch out he bites terribly." I
knew he wouldn’t do any such thing now. He was just looking
for where this new energy came from that he just felt. And he
smelt and smelt and smelt. He literally inhaled the Reiki. I treated
him with home medicines and sent him distant Reiki every day.
I though he was a pretty hopeless case, but if I don’t try
– who will? The owner said the vets advice is to put him
down. Within 6 weeks he was bucking around in the paddock, hair
growing back and all. 2 months later he was show jumping again.
Thank you Reiki!
I hope I can initiate a lot more willing helpers here. Especially
indigenous people, who can then take it to those far away homelands,
where no clinics exist.
I am sure Reiki can also do a great job with all our African
diseases like Malaria. My only concern is the bickering and inter-Reiki
schools fighting. Come on good people – let’s unite.
Who cares where our teachers come from, what kind of Reiki they
do! As long as our intent is to help other help themselves, as
long as we offer these, warm hands of unconditional love, unconditionally
of creed and color or even species – lets enjoy WHAT WORKS.
Reiki always works in its most wonderful often mysteriously subtle
ways. As long as we, let it and don’t put our egos in its
way!
Lets all join hands, stop judging others and get out there and
prove to more and more people that it works.
My biggest dreams are for this Reiki for Horses book of mine
to open up horse owners and caregivers to this Reiki magic, and
for their horses to benefit from it. I would love to see all racehorses
treated with Reiki instead of drugs.
I would love for some real money to pour into Zimbabwe so we
can get a farm and open an alternative treatment center for animals
with one part of it look after horses which are going to be put
down otherwise. We can nurse them back to health and find caring
new owner for them. It is shocking what happens to a racehorse
here after he can give no longer what’s wanted! He goes
in the fields to plough. He gets no food – he has to look
after himself. He doesn’t die before he gets put down or
just left to starve to death. Come on people. They give us all
they can and we thank them for it in this way the time has come
to change. Reiki makes this happen time and time again. But……
It needs the unity on all levels.
Thank you Mari we do need to be heard here. Reiki is here to
stay even in the deepest darkest of Africa.
