Reiki Level One- Shoden is normally a one day course that is taught in a sacred, loving, and healing environment. Learn what Reiki is and how it heals in an intensive experience that combines lecture, discussion, an attunement to the energy of Reiki on four Spiritual energetic centers ("Chakras") by an initiation (attunement*) process, meditations and experiential practice both on yourself and in a group setting in a  well organized but relaxed program.  A detailed class manual is included, and upon successful completion a certificate from the International Association of Reiki is awarded.  The course is the beginning, and the opportunity to lay a good foundation for further Reiki work, such as Reiki II.

*The attunements will raise the vibratory level of these chakras and adjust the energy on the etheric level, in the nervous system. It addresses the mood, temperament and your intuition. In this first degree your sensory qualities become more acute and will help you to experience your inner light and your purpose. You are permanently aligned with love. The first- degree attunements are primarily focused on the physical body which responds to the energy, so that it can accept and transfer greater quantities of this life force energy.

If you are considering having your child attend a Reiki I course, I stress the importance of having at least one parent, who lives with the child, already having had the Reiki I course  This will support the child spiritually.
